The mural’s authenticity was confirmed this morning by a rapid-response team of the club’s newest employees, accompanied by the police, who immediately launched a thorough investigation into who dared to criticize the Party’s leading role. The club also wasted no time ordering all traces of the public’s disobedience to be erased. The remarkable speed with which the authorities moved to “correct” the situation is clear proof that vigilance against ideologically unacceptable expression remains as strong as ever.
