Berlin attacked Cologne after the game and captured one drum and some flags

Riots broke out on Sunday afternoon following the third playoff game between the Eisbären Berlin and the Kölner Haie. After the game at the arena near the Ostbahnhof (East Train Station), a fan bus carrying Kölner Haie supporters was attacked and stormed by 20 to 30 masked individuals, as reported by the Berlin police on Monday. One person was injured.

According to the police, the Kölner fan bus was traveling on Mühlenstraße in the Friedrichshain district around 5 p.m. when the incident occurred. The masked attackers first brought the bus to a stop and then smashed the vehicle with flagpoles, fists, and glass bottles, the police statement said.
