Croatia – Poland (UEFA Nations League) (08.09.2024) Poland report: Nations League. 08.09.2024 Croatia – Poland. Before the match, the Croatians attacked the Poles. The police detained 5 Croatians. The whole situation was seen by the Croatian coach Żeljko Sopić, who said: “I saw a group of about 50 Croatians who attacked a much smaller group of Poles, they were ordinary middle-aged fans”. After the match, the Polish hooligans noticed the group that attacked ordinary Polish fans before the match and charged at them, the Croatians ran away. The Polish hooligans also clashed with the police. Result: 67 Polish hooligans were detained. All were fined 200 euros and released.
