Včera se zde odehrálo derby, ve kterém se setkaly FC Partizani a FC Tirana. Samotné setkání doprovázely nepokoje. Podle místních médií došlo ve městě ke střetům, a to jak mezi fanoušky obou klubů (většina z nich se odehrála u baru poblíž Elbasan Arena), tak mezi fanoušky a policií, kteří nedovolili vstup na stadion.
